Raley’s Stores Donate 112,500 lbs. of Meat to Local Food Banks

FFFmeatdonation_InfographicIt may have been cold outside, but hearts were warm as Raley’s loaded up 112,500 pounds of turkey, chicken and ham to feed hungry families.

A traditional Food For Families giving effort, each of our 128 stores made a $1,000 donation of meat to food banks in their community. Raley’s covers all of the administrative costs so that 100% of the donations go to local food banks.

“Our partnership with local food banks throughout Northern California and Northern Nevada ensures that much-needed food is available in all of the communities we serve,” said Jennie Teel-Wolter, Raley’s community relations manager.
